How To Find God
WHO AM I?
There really are only two alternatives here; either you are a child of God or you are a child of Satan. You may object to being called a child of Satan, but Jesus Himself said that "He that is not with me is against me!" (Matt. 12:30) So, how do you become a member of Jesus' team? By asking Him to become the Lord of your life. (More about that in a moment!)
WHAT AM I DOING HERE?
The secular world-view would have you to believe that you are the result of a cataclysmic cosmic accident, the product of some unplanned evolutionary process whereby you evolved from a single cell that somehow sprang to life in the primordial ooze on the bottom of the ocean and finally became the complex being that you are today. Come on now! Get real! Doesn't it make a lot more sense to believe that there was a Master Designer who created you and everything around you? He has a master plan for your life and He wants to reveal it to you. True happiness comes as you discover that plan and walk in it.
WHERE AM I GOING?
Here again there are only two alternatives. Either you are going to heaven or you are going to hell. Space does not permit a theological discussion of heaven and hell. Suffice it to say that they both are very real and you will end up in one place or the other. The determining factor is your relationship to Jesus Christ. If you have made Him Lord of your life, then you are part of His family and you will spend eternity with Him. If not, then hell awaits you. The choice is yours.
WHAT WILL I DO ABOUT JESUS?
Ultimately, everybody has to face this decision. And, again, there are only two answers. Either you accept Him or reject Him. Every time you reject Him it becomes more difficult to get to Him the next time He knocks at your heart's door.
You can accept Jesus right now by praying this simple prayer: "Dear God, I admit that I am a sinner, lost without you. You promised in your Word (the Holy Bible) that if I would confess my sin, you would forgive me of my sin and cleanse me from all unrighteousness, or acts that are not right. I'm taking You at Your Word, and I accept your undeserved forgiveness bought by the shedding of Jesus’ blood on Calvary’s cross. Thank you for saving me and forgiving me. I promise to live for You the rest of my life and find a good Bible believing church to disciple me, in Jesus' name I pray. Amen!"
